Preparatory courses for entrance examinations into Medical University

Last year the University management noted insufficient preparation of students from Israel who arrived in Moldova to take entrance examinations.

Tests in chemistry, biology (and also in English for those wishing to study in this language) showed that knowledge of English for majority of applicants was more than satisfactory, but level of preparation in chemistry and biology – insufficient for successfully passing the entrance examinations.
In connection with the above, the Official Representation now annually conducts preparatory courses for entrance examinations into the University in order to increase students’ level of preparedness.

These courses cost much less than existing similar preparatory courses in Israel for entrance exams into institutions of higher learning. Besides, and what’s very important, the program for these courses was developed especially for Israeli citizens applying for studies in Nikolae Testemianu USMF. The program was developed with consideration of abilities of Israeli applicants who were observed during 10 year period of studies in the University. The course program is based on chemistry and biology courses of the Introductory Department of the University.
The course is estimated to run for 2.5-3 months. The beginning of the course is June 14. It takes place in Tel-Aviv area (in the vicinity of the train station). Classes are held 3 times a week, from 17:00 to 20:30 on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The classes are conducted in English by qualified Israeli lecturers. During the course the students will be familiarized with the terminology not only in English, but also in Hebrew. This will help them in the future to easier adapt to the academic process in the 1st year. The program of the course ensures that applicants will gain knowledge necessary for successful passing of entrance examinations and also for studying the 1st year subjects based on chemistry and biology at the University’s faculties.

Applicants who conscientiously studied and completed the preparatory course will have significantly increased their chances of successfully passing entrance examinations.
In case of unsatisfactory marks, the applicants have the right to begin studies at the Preparatory Course of the University with consequent transfer into the 1st year ( Preparatory Course...)

The cost of preparatory course for entrance examinations is 7,600 shekels (including VAT).
